When I hear the name Jordan, Mike's shoe is not the first thing that comes to mind, it's actually some of MJ's greatest achievements in the NBA that I witnessed as a youngster....Michael gives Air Jordans their value and in my opinion, people wouldn't give a sh@# bout Nike if it wasn't for Mike. Shid Reebok, Fila, and Addias would probably still be as big as they were in the basketball shoe market back in 95'/96 if Nike didnt have Mike. Shid I bet the folks in the Chi can say the same thang about those 6 championships. I feel sorry for the kids growing up today cuz they will ever see the greatest player ever, play live. All they are left with are hundreds of youtube mixes, his shoes of course, that nice statue of him in Chicago, and the watered down versions of him (kobe/lebron). As for us lucking ones that got to see him play....WE KNOW HOW MUCH JORDAN IMPACTED THE OUTCOME OF A GAME OR A PLAYOFF SERIES. Hell even if you wasn't a Jordan fan you knew your favorite team or player had no answer for MJ. Hell the NBA did'nt have an answer for him, how do you leave a professional league with three consecutive championships and return to win 3 more CONSECUTIVE titles after your first full season back, it dont matter the sport, that is f#%king amazing. The NBA should change their motto from "Where Amazing Happens" to "Where Jordan Happened". I could go on and on but will end with this: I know alot of us love his shoes or just about everything esle Nike has slapped his name on...but lets not forget about the man that made all this possible "His Airness" Michael "AIR" Jordan.......one
